We plan coverage around that reality instead of treating your wedding like a single-day Western ceremony.
Mehndi & Haldi
Bright colors, henna detail shots, and unscripted dancing. We shoot these events loosely and quickly, moving through the room rather than staging static portraits, so the energy of the night comes through in the final gallery.
Sangeet
Choreographed performances need a photographer and videographer who can predict where the next movement will land. We scout the stage and lighting in advance and position ourselves for both wide performance shots and tight reaction shots from the crowd.
Baraat
The groom’s procession is one of the few moments of true chaos in a Desi wedding, in the best way — drums, dancing, a moving crowd. We add a drone here when the venue allows it, to capture the scale of the procession from above alongside close, ground-level coverage.
Ceremony & Reception
Whether it’s a Nikah, a Hindu or Sikh ceremony, or a church service, we treat the ceremony itself as the quiet, formal center of the day, and the reception as the big, loud celebration around it — stage entrance, family portraits, dinner, and dancing. Why Multi-Day Desi Weddings Need a Second Shooter
With 200+ guests, multiple outfit changes, and events spread across a venue (or several venues), one photographer physically can’t be everywhere. Most of the Desi weddings we shoot include a second photographer or videographer as an add-on, so we can cover the stage and the dance floor, or the groom’s side and the bride’s side, at the same time.
